This September, Nada Elkharashi is opening her NRK Studio at Mada for an intimate, hands-on design session.
Over roughly two hours, eight participants will gather around a single table to explore how small shifts in form can change the way we sit, hold, share, or protect the objects around us.
Each participant will be given a simple, everyday object and one specific human behaviour to design for, like sharing, gathering, carrying, revealing, or protecting, and will be asked to rework the object’s form to draw that behaviour out. Working with a small selection of prototyping materials, the aim isn’t a polished final product.
