Meet Dina Farah
Dina Farah is a Palestinian architect and designer whose work moves between spatial practice and material storytelling. Through her work, Farah creates spaces for the unseen, using design as a portal to reveal what is obscured and to make room for ways of being that resist dominant narratives.
Art and architecture are both about shaping the invisible—the memory, the emotion, the light, the silence between walls
Key Projects
- Sido The Label - A streetwear brand of handmade pieces where each garment is an artwork inspired by a story from Farah’s Palestinian heritage and her upbringing in Doha, Toronto, and Sydney.
- Kafr ‘Aqab Art Center - A collaborative project with RIWAQ focused on the cultural restoration of a historic complex in Kafr ‘Aqab, West Bank, Palestine. The project transforms the historic complex into a resilient art center that serves the local community while preserving its cultural and historical significance.
- Qatar Blueprint Project - Working under the office of Chairperson H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani at Qatar Museums, and led by Fatma Ibrahim Al Sehlawi, the Qatar Blueprint is a comprehensive initiative for national development which seeks to weave Qatar’s built environment and cultural assets into a cohesive and unified national fabric.
