Meet Amanda & Joe Bou Abboud
Boo Design Studio is a Doha- and Beirut-based practice founded by Amanda and Joe Bou Abboud, who met while studying interior architecture and product design at ALBA in Beirut, and who today teach there alongside running the studio. Established in Doha in 2021, the studio works as a bridge between tradition and innovation reinterpreting regional craftsmanship through contemporary methods and narrative-driven design. Their work has been exhibited in Doha, Beirut, Dubai, Paris, Amsterdam, Singapore and Milan, and developed with Hermès, Qatar Museums, Qatar Foundation and Ithra. In 2025 they were named to the AD100 Middle East list.
We are natural narrators, artisans of both aesthetics and allegory.
