Meet Randa Albayoumi
Randa is a Palestinian-Canadian creative producer, music producer, DJ, and founder of Mianda Collective, a platform dedicated to exploring music as a cultural language through documented live experiences.
Performing under the name ZAYTUNE, her musical practice is a personal interpretation of the sounds, stories, and rhythms that have shaped her listening across the Global South. Blending influences that span generations, cultures, and genres, her sets are guided less by trends than by a desire to create thoughtful listening experiences that feel sincere, immersive, and deeply human.

Key Projects
- Mianda Collective - A music and culture platform exploring music as a cultural language through documented live experiences. Founded in 2023, the platform brings together artists, institutions, and communities through filmed sessions, listening experiences, and collaborative cultural programming.
- Sol Set - Mianda Collective's flagship live session series, bringing musicians together for intimate performances filmed in front of a live audience. The project was conceived by Randa as a celebration of the diverse sounds and stories shaping musical identities across the SWANA region and the wider Global South.
- Espresso Yourself - Conceived by Mianda Collective in collaboration with The Espresso Collective, Espresso Yourself revived the nostalgic tradition of song dedications through vinyl listening sessions, specialty coffee, and handwritten messages, encouraging people to reconnect through music and shared memories
- Football Storytelling - Fuelled by a lifelong love of football, Randa has spent nearly a decade developing creative campaigns and original digital formats for global tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™, the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023™, and the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar™. Her work explores the people, cultures, and communities that make football a universal language
- Doha Film Festival Sessions - A collaboration between Mianda Collective and the Doha Film Institute to co-curate the music programme for the inaugural Doha Film Festival. Alongside the festival programming, Randa led the creative production of a filmed live session series documenting the performances and the Qatar-based artists behind them
