Doha Design District, powered by Msheireb Properties, has unveiled the 20 shortlisted projects advancing to the final stage of its Public Art Open Call, marking a significant milestone for an initiative that has captured the imagination of artists and designers both locally and internationally.
An Extraordinary Global Response
The Public Art Open Call attracted more than 200 proposals from 53 countries, demonstrating the growing interest in creating meaningful public art experiences that engage with real places, communities, and urban environments.
From this diverse pool of submissions, 20 projects have been selected for the shortlist. Together, they reflect the international spirit and cultural diversity that define Doha today.
