Doha Design District is looking for works that shape public spaces. Through the Public Art Open Call, we invite artists, designers, architects, and creatives from across the region and beyond to propose their creative and innovative installations for Msheireb Downtown Doha.
Selected works will be displayed as semi-permanent installations on a two-year loan basis, becoming part of the everyday experience of the district.
This is an opportunity to embed your vision into one of the most culturally significant urban districts in the Arab world.

Submissions are accepted digitally through the Doha Design District website. Each proposal must be submitted in English or Arabic and include the following:
Optional supporting materials may also be included:
Letters of support from community partners, technical feasibility studies, or a video walkthrough or animation (link only).
Each individual or team may submit more than one proposal.

By submitting a proposal, applicants confirm that all work is original and that they hold the necessary intellectual property rights. Selected applicants will be required to enter into a formal agreement with Msheireb Properties outlining scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and artist fees.
Winning works will be displayed for a period of two years on a loan basis. Msheireb Properties reserves the right to exhibit, publish, and promote all submitted proposals with appropriate credit to their authors.
