Something vibrant took shape in the heart of Msheireb Downtown Doha. The Gulf’s flourishing creative community came together at the Doha Design District Atrium for the return of The Collective Edit, held from 29 September to 4 October. Brought to life by InStudio Club, this curated gathering brought together nearly thirty designers and visionaries from Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and across the GCC. More than a pop-up, it was a warm celebration of regional identity, weaving together contemporary fashion, bespoke design, vintage discoveries, signature fragrances, and artisanal textiles.
At the heart of this edition’s narrative lay a poetic tribute to the renowned artist Yayoi Kusama. Whimsical polka dots rippled through the branding and space, honouring the circle as an enduring symbol of connection, unity, and boundless creative dialogue. The setting reimagined TEC Café’s signature aesthetic, combining warm colour tones with delicate sheer curtains at each booth to create an inviting, intimate gallery feel. The 30 participating brands were: Untitled, Dollab Line, Nissa Project, OFA, Wearbyathr, SMW, By Noora F, RAA, Officials Neon, Voush, Vehare, Alan, Alana, Ghurz, LN Abaya, LIN, MAK, By Nouff, Stitch & Co, La Soiie, Essentials by D, Khawla, The Bold Project, Retro VNTG Eyewear, Melor Gift and Stationery Items, She’s Darlin’, Shopmyyvault Vintage Wear, Fikrh, The Niche Avenue, and Bunee.
As visitors wandered through the district, the energy flowed effortlessly from its grand entrances into the light-filled atrium. Here, TEC Café served as a welcoming community anchor, inviting people to gather, converse, and linger over a brand-new menu. Its launch coincided with a visual campaign captured across the architectural avenues of Msheireb Downtown Doha.
